Senior Structural Technician Role

Requirements:

• 4 years experience in building structures with a strong emphasis on reinforced concrete detailing to relevant British standards or Eurocodes.

• You should be a good communicator.

• Be capable of working independently.

• Experience producing general arrangement and detail drawings in steel, masonry and timber.

• Experience using software such as AutoCAD, Revit and Excel and familiarity with BIM will be a great advantage.

The position will entail working alongside our associate director & drawing office manager. You will be required to delegate work to junior technicians and be responsible for checking all drawings produced by other technicians. Mentoring junior technicians and developing their skillset is an essential part of the position, ensuring they are competent at drawing and modelling and possess a thorough understanding of the construction process.

This is a permanent position and is initially office based only. Salary will be commensurate with experience, in the region of £35K to £40K.
